Madina Musakhanova was awarded gratitude for the report " Problems of restoration of handwritten and printed heritage"


Professor of the Department of «History and Theory of Fine Arts», Cand. of Art Sc., specialist in museum management, member of ICOM Musakhanova Madina Zulpuharovna took part in the VIII International Scientific and Practical Seminar "Faces of Memory. The newest technologies for the preservation and restoration of handwritten and printed heritage" in Yerevan (Armenia). At the end of the seminar Musakhanova M.Z. was awarded with a gratitude letter for the report on "Problems of restoration of handwritten and printed heritage". The seminar was held at the Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts named after Mesrop Mashtots "Matenadaran", in one of the leading centers, where the richest collections of manuscripts, documents and early printed books were collected, as well as in the National Gallery of Armenia.

The Seminar became an original course for specialists development and improvement, that provided an opportunity for the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of the latest techniques and technologies for preserving written heritage for restorers, fund keepers, museum workers, libraries, archivists from the CIS, Baltic and European countries. Within the framework of the seminar, master classes were held, which allowed the seminar participants to learn practical skills and improve their professional qualifications in the conservation and restoration of books and manuscripts. The seminar was held with the support of the RA Ministry of Culture, the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member states and Tourism Development Fund of Armenia.
